I had a serious sinus infection during my first month of pregnancy. My OB gave me ampicillin to take for a week. Will this harm my baby?

Ampicillin has not been shown to have adverse affects on the fetus. In fact, it is among the drugs of choice for certain types of bacterial infections of pregnancy.
