We asked you, and you told us! We posed the question to new moms on the iVillage boards: What do you wish somebody had told you about pregnancy? First-time moms-to-be, take note: Here's the inside story from women who've been there. Some of our favorite responses:
Exercise, exercise, exercise. You'll look and feel better — and labor will be easier!
Stock up on diapers before baby arrives.
Stay away from sodium. That stuff will make you swell up like no other.
Make more of your pregnancy symptoms now and then, and enjoy letting your partner wait on you!
Enjoy this time in your life, especially if this is your first child. Pretty soon, your world will revolve around the baby.
Keep a diary.
Keep an open mind when preparing for labor and delivery. Even if you think you have decided on a natural birth, you might end up changing your mind or having to have a C-section.
