Bring Your Child In the Shower
"My son showers with me all the time. We started doing it when he was about seven or eight months. I have a hand-held shower massage and we sit in the tub together and clean up. He likes to play in the water stream so much that he stays distracted and clean up is a snap."

If The Shower Won’t Work
"I have tried to take my daughter in the shower with me but she screams the whole time. So now I bring her and a couple of toys in the bathroom and shut the door. She will play on the floor with her toys while I shower. I poke my head out to talk to her and check up on her. (My bathroom is totally secure with cabinet and toilet locks.)"

"I have completely baby-proofed my children’s rooms, so when it’s time for me to shower I usually put up a baby gate to keep them in their room. They have buckets of toys that I rotate so they are entertained. Then I take a quick shower--it is not ideal, but it gets the job done."
