Pregnancy & Parenting's
Diapering Message Board

Diapering a baby provides a chance for adult and child to spend special time together. Because diapering is a repetitive activity and because there is care, nurturing and focused time involved, it allows for wonderful learning and interaction. For the baby there are opportunities to learn about her/his body, about health and safety, about language and communication, about sequences and about trust. For adults, diapering offers a chance to get in rhythm with your baby, to learn her/his special signals, to develop your unique communication system, to teach your baby how to care for herself and to establish a sense of trust and predictability. If you are undecided about cloth or disposable diapers, join other moms on the Diapering board to get tips, techniques and how to choose the right diaper for your baby.

If you've never participated in message board before, you'll be surprised by how easy it is to get answers to your questions from experienced moms. You don't need to be an iVillage member to read messages, but if you want to post, just click on the "join now" link at the very top right hand corner of the message board page. Membership is free and it just takes a few minutes to sign up.
