Hear what women have to say about this board:

I found this board when I was sleepless from crying twins, working 45 hours a week and commuting 100+ miles a day from work to daycare. I was lost, depressed and felt all alone. By chance, I found this board and intelligent, witty women poking fun at life and babies and bosses and supporting each other in times of personal or career stress. It felt like a warm hot tub on a cold winter's night. I jumped in and was welcomed with open arms. I was told to take my kiddos to the doctor (which I did). I was told to find new day care (which I didn't). I was told to tell my husband to step up and start doing half of the driving (which I did). This board has saved my life, my sanity and, quite honestly, the lives of my children more times than I can count. It has served as an oasis, a therapist and a reminder of exactly why I have chosen to live my life the way I have.

I love how supportive everyone is and so willing to offer help, advice and the occasional reality check! It's a great place to connect with other working women who are going through (or have been through) the same issues that I am and really helps me keep a grip on reality.

If you're a working mom balancing the roles of mother and employee, the demands of work and home and you're looking for a place to talk to other moms who have been there, are there or who will be there soon, this is the place. No guilt allowed. Everyone does what's best for their family.

This board is truly my sanity saver on a daily basis. These supportive women are from all different walks of life who share so much simply because we all face the challenge of balancing work, kids and family while also trying to take care of ourselves as mothers, wives and individual women. They have given me the reality checks I needed, the empathy I crave, and more valuable advice than any therapist, friend, or book could ever give.

It's a breath of fresh air to talk about working without being accused of abandoning my children. It helps me to think about why I work and why I choose to be the main provider for my children.
