You 'd be surprised how many single mothers there were that had a major impact on society Writers, civil rights activists, government officials, even a Queen- and more!

NOSM invites you to participate in a celebration to honor women and their achievements during Single Mother History Month this June.

In our effort to educate the public about single mothers, we have issued a commemorative tee-shirt (see page ) and are including some brief biographies of women, many of whom you may have heard but didn't realize were single moms.

We are also planning to issue a calendar that will include a picture and biographical information about a successful single mother for each month of next year.

If you would like to contribute the names of women who made a difference to this planet, from the past or still living, please send your information to us. If she is selected as one of NOSM's honorees, you will win a free tee-shirt and also be credited for the research.
