Genevieve Thiers is the founder and CEO of Sittercity.com, a national online child care service with a database of more than 100,000 babysitters and nannies. She's been recognized as a child care expert in numerous TV, radio and print interviews and features nationwide, and has spoken at mother's forums, colleges and conventions across America.

Her first book about babysitting is due to be published in 2006. A twin and the oldest of seven children -- including another set of twins -- Genevieve has personally clocked more than 3,000 jobs as a babysitter and nanny. She's worked as a Big Bird at Sesame Place and is a trained opera singer, performing professionally in Chicago, where she currently lives.
