Dr. Jennifer Trachtenberg is a board-certified pediatrician and a fellow member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is on the faculty of the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City, and has a private practice in pediatrics and adolescent medicine.

Dr. Trachtenberg has a specialized area of interest in development and behavior of children. She cares not only for typically developing children in her practice but also for children with special needs. She has an extensive knowledge about pervasive developmental disorder, autistic spectrum disorders, ADHD and other developmental disabilities of early childhood. She consults with families regarding the treatment options available to meet these children's diverse needs.

Dr. Trachtenberg attended Cornell University, where she majored in clinical nutrition. There, she was awarded the National Collegiate Award in Nutritional Sciences and was elected to the Omicron Nu Honor Society. A graduate of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Dr.Trachtenberg completed her internship and residency in pediatrics at the Mount Sinai Medical Center. She also received the United Hospital Award at Mount Sinai. Dr. Trachtenberg is married and is the mother of two young boys.
