Does your love life need a bit of heating up? It's the perfect time to think about planning a romantic dinner for two. Sounds heavenly, you think, but how -- with little ones constantly in arms, and a hectic schedule, you can barely fit in any time for conversation, let alone romance. Well then, it's high time to make romance a priority.
Begin right now by arranging your first date. Post your date on your calendar and stick to it. This is your special time.
Once you've picked a date, think about how you can arrange a window of private time for you and your partner. If your children are older, perhaps you can arrange for your kids to sleep over at a friend or relative's house -- and then return the favor. If you still have babies in the house and you feel best staying close by, don't despair. Even your youngest baby probably has a period where he generally sleeps for two or three hours -- even if that means "dinner" is enjoyed together on a weekend afternoon.
